I like racing long distance triathlons. I ride both outside and indoors to prepare for my next race. To help better prepare for races, I had a goal to create a program that makes custom trainer rides. My program takes inputs -weight, type of bike (CdA), FTP in watts and your goal finish time and creates a customized training file (.erg, .zwo, or .mrc). If I want to ride Ironman Boulder in 2 hours 20 minutes, I’ll know how many watts to push for each ascent, descent, and flat.
